A Message from the Chapter President
Sharlandria Shaw
Welcome to the official website of Lambda Upsilon Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated. It is my honor to serve as the third President of this award-winning bicentennial chapter. Our chapter is comprised of a very diverse and distinguished group of educated women who selflessly offer their time, talents, and resources to empower and educate our communities. Our efforts continue to be intentional, strategic, and focused on scholarship and service to position our communities to thrive for years to come.

Lambda Upsilon Sigma Alumnae Chapter was established June 29th, 2013, focused on serving the North Dallas suburban communities of Collin county. Since its chartering, we have contributed thousands of hours of service, awarded over $80,000 in scholarships and in-kind donations to local charities. Our chapter holds the honor of not only being the first Sesquicentennial and Bicentennial Chapter of the SUPER Southwest Region but also the Chapter of the Year 2014 | 2016 | 2019 l 2020 l2021; Rhoer Club of the Year 2014 | 2019 and Membership Development Award 2016 |2019.
It is my vision, as the President of this strong chapter, to continue to spotlight community partnerships and help to create more opportunities to serve in Collin county.
